After-School Enrichment Summary
The PTA coordinates with after-school enrichment providers to offer various after-school programs at McDonald in the fall, winter, and spring. Most classes end at 4:05pm and sessions are generally 10 weeks, running from October-December, January-March, and April-June. After enrichment classes end, Kids Co. students will be dropped off at Kids Co., but transportation for other after-school programs is not provided. Sign-up for enrichment classes is through 6crickets and begins a few weeks before each session. Classes tend to fill up quickly. You should create an account and pre-register your student to be ready when registration opens.
After-School Enrichment Classes - Fall 2025
Here is the Fall 2025 class schedule. Prices are listed in 6crickets, an online registration tool.
Fall Enrichment registration will open Sunday, 9/14 at 7 p.m. and close Sunday, 9/21 at 7 p.m.
Fall classes will begin on Friday 10/3 and run until winter break (with no classes on 10/10, 11/11, and Thanksgiving week, and 12/19).
For Enrichment programs to run, we need volunteers! Volunteers ensure students get to the correct classrooms and are all picked up after classes end. Use this form to sign-up to volunteer and get a free class.
After-School Enrichment Programs Registration
To Register: You will be able to register and book all of your classes through 6Crickets. Follow the steps below:
Once you are logged in, under My Account, click on Edit Students. Fill in all of the required information for every child you are registering. [NOTE: It is very helpful for us if you can enter your child's AFTERNOON teacher. Also, some of the fields are required by 6Crickets and not by us (for example: "Please set a password to use for picking up your child" and "Insurance Information"). You cannot leave them blank, but you can fill them with anything.]
It will show up as "Complete" when you are finished. You are set up to register for classes!
NOTE: Please note that your payment for your class will generally not go through until seven days prior to the start of class. Any credit card fees or other administrative fees that are charged by 6Crickets are NON-REFUNDABLE, under all circumstances. Class providers will tell us 10 days prior to the start of class if a class needs to cancel due to low enrollment. So to avoid an issue with fees, credit card orders generally are not processed until seven days prior to the start of class.
Use the Parent’s Guide if you need help registering for 6Crickets. Under My Account, click on Edit Profile. Here you can enter your credit card information and opt out of email subscriptions if you wish (otherwise you will start receiving 6Crickets emails and newsletters).
If you are not seeing the classes specific to McDonald: From the 6Crickets.com homepage after logging in, click the Parents blue button, then "Programs at your School". In the drop down menu, select our School Portals by finding McDonald International School (Seattle, WA), then click [Register].
There are no classes held during school holidays. Actual scheduling may vary by class provider.

After-school childcare is offered by Kids Co. at McDonald until 6pm. Kids Co. is housed in the cafeteria and in a fun-filled space in the large portable on the west side of the school, next to the gym and just across from the cafeteria. The Kids Co. team knows how to engage children creatively in ways that support the growth of confidence and esteem. Kids Co. at McDonald is part of Seattle Public Schools' Community Alignment Initiative -- that means that their curricula extends and integrates what kids learn during the school day.
All are welcome, however there is a wait list. To learn more about Kids Co. and for enrollment information, visit the Kids Co. website.
